I saw this in the convenience store, and it brought back memories of Spam.
Once in a great while, my mom would be out of ideas—and food—and pull out a can of Spam. For that reason, it became sort of a treat (like Twinkies).
Even though the taste inevitably disappoints, the name still works (for me, anyway 🤷♂️).
My question for you is this:
Has the slang term “spam” kept the brand alive—or hurt it?
My other question:
Rate Spam on a scale of 1 to 10. I’ll give you my score in 5 minutes. 😆
Would you rate Spam higher for nostalgia than for taste?
