In the fall of the year, homecoming floats will be filled with heroes.
Teachers, coaches, and mentors remembered for helping kids become better versions of themselves.
They may never make the news stream, but they are never forgotten by the students whose lives were forever changed by their mentorship.
This year, I’m especially proud that the Harrisburg High School Hall of Fame Committee has named Elizabeth Gould to the 2026 Harrisburg Tigers Hall of Fame Class in the Teacher/Coach/Mentor category.
For me, the teacher who made the biggest impact is an easy choice—the teacher I married: Mrs. Libby Gould.
Choir teacher extraordinaire. Great mom. Excellent life partner. And now, a Harrisburg Tigers Hall of Famer. ❤️
So, my friends—what teacher made the biggest impact on your life?
